Get Ready To Get Mobbed!
Fine. I have never seen the flash mob happen live. I am just contented watching it on YouTube. And seeing this
flash mob is almost always a treat. So, what is flash mobbing all about? Have you seen Mobbed lately? That is flash mobbing. You are being surprised by hordes of people. To make it long, a large group of people is mobilized by social media to meet in a public place for the purpose of doing an unusual or entertaining activity of short duration. But with Mobbed, it is the seemingly spontaneous dance performances take place in public places, surprising onlookers as music begins to play and seemingly random people start dancing a choreographed routine. Take that concept, add on a surprise at the end and that’s Mobbed. This is really damn good!
Howie Mandell is typically charismatic as host and offers numerous suggestions as to how to make the event bigger and better. Choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon have had a hand in performances on just about every current dance-themed TV show worth watching right now, including some of the best dances ever performed on So You Think You Can Dance. Needless to say, this event was in good hands dance-wise. As for the end result, without spoiling anything by mentioning specifics, I will say that not everything goes exactly according to plan but there is a very emotional pay-off and it’s definitely worth watching it all play out. And you’ll find yourself crying getting to overwhelmed by the show.
So, are you planning for flash mob too? You better stay still. Just keep quiet. For now, I really love Mobbed. I love the show because it is a fascinating phenomenon and people around the world are enthralled by people joining up in public places to do something fun and remarkable. This February 8, 2012 we are about to see another flash mobbed. So, you better keep an eye on this episode of Mobbed. Watch Mobbed Season 1 Episode 6 and get terrified.
